I have had the honor of running/managing Mickelson Trail Lodging for the last eight years. In those years, I got the chance to meet so many wonderful people and form lasting friendships. I have spent my life in the lodging business here in the Black Hills. What is that old saying, “All good things must come to an end”. I have decided to finally retire. I am very pleased to announce that my son, Matthew, will be taking over managing Mickelson Trail Lodging with his own management company. I know he will do well and we are both excited for the bright future ahead of us. With that, thank you to everyone who has made this journey a great one. I am truly grateful to everyone who has been with us since the beginning.
