Mickelson Trail Lodging Reservation Terms and Conditions
By making a reservation you are agreeing to the terms and conditions in this document.
Deposit: We require a deposit of one third of your total bill. You may pay this deposit with a personal check, cashier’s check, or a credit card. We will also be asking you for a credit card number for your balance due we may at our discretion charge the balance due up to three weeks prior to your arrival or we may charge the total balance due upon your arrival.
Damages and loss of property. Your signature authorizes us to charge your card for any damages or loss of property caused by anyone in your party.
Inspection of the property: Guests agree to inspect the property for damages within 60 minutes upon arrival and notify the office of any prior damages.
Check In & Check Out: is between 4 to 5 o’clock P.M. and check out is no later than 10:30 A.M. You may request different times, if available.
Cancellation Policy: Cabins are considered PRESOLD. In the unlikely event that a situation arises where you need to cancel or shorten your reservation, please notify us immediately. If we are able to rebook the cabin on those dates at the same or higher rate, your deposit will be refunded less a $35 cancellation fee. If we are unable to rebook your cabin, we keep the deposit amount. NOTE: Holidays & Sturgis dates are never refundable.
Visitors of Registered Guests: You may have up to 4 visitors (unregistered guests) for up to 3 hours as dinner guests in your lodge; all visitors must vacate the property by 9 pm. We may allow you at our discretion to have more than 4 guests for special events such as weddings and parties at a rate of $10.00 per person per day for guests not staying in the lodging unit however you must notify us at the time of your reservation booking.
Family atmosphere: Alcoholic beverages must be confined to your lodge & immediate area. We maintain and enforce a 10 P.M. quiet time. We will not tolerate loud parties and music at any time of the day or night.
ATVs: ATV owners/operators must comply with USFS & SD regulations. ATVs may only be driven to and from the trails.
Hot tubs: Hot tubs are cleaned and refilled between guests. Hot tub may not be warm the first night of stay. To ensure your safety, guests are responsible for daily chlorine test and must notify management if there is a problem. In the event the hot tubs are not working for any reason, we will issue a certificate for a 5 percent discount on your next stay.
Pet Policy: ALL PETS MUST BE REGISTERED prior to your stay. Pets are allowed on a case‐by‐case basis. The rate is $10 per pet/per day. A cleaning fee of $100 may be assessed if your dog sheds excessively.
Smoking Policy: ALL of are lodging units are NON‐SMOKING! (No exceptions) Should you smoke indoors, there will be a $200.00 fee which will be added to your bill.
Credit Card Authorization: You are agreeing to the total amount listed according to issuer agreement.
Policy Agreements: I understand and agree to abide by the policies, rates, and regulations indicated above.
We are not responsible for any accidents or injuries to you or your guests while using services operated by other independent businesses.
