By making a reservation you are agreeing to the terms and conditions in this document.

Deposit: We require a deposit of one third of your total bill when reservation is made. We do not hold any cabin(s) for any parties without a deposit being made. (No exceptions). You may pay this deposit with a personal check or credit card.

Damages and loss of property. Your signature authorizes us to charge your card for any damages or loss of property caused by anyone in your party.

Check In: 4:00 p.m. (We cannot guarantee early check-in.)
Check Out: 10:30 a.m.

Cancellation Policy: Cabins are Presold. In the unlikely event that a situation arises where you need to cancel, please notify us immediately. If we can rebook the cabin on those dates your deposit will be refunded less a $35 cancellation fee. If we are unable to rebook your cabin, we will keep the deposit amount.

PLEASE NOTE: Holidays & Sturgis Rally dates are Non-Refundable.

Visitors of Registered Guests: You may have up to 4 visitors (unregistered guests) for up to 3 hours as dinner guests in your lodge; all visitors must vacate the property by 9 pm.

Family atmosphere: Alcoholic beverages must be confined to your cabin & the immediate area. We maintain and enforce quiet hours from 10:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m. We will not tolerate loud parties and music at any time of the day or night. We reserve the right to ask any parties to leave the premises if rules are not abided.

ATVs: ATV owners/operators must comply with USFS & SD regulations. ATVs may only be driven to and from the trails.

Hot tubs: Hot tubs are cleaned and refilled between stays. The hot tub may not be warm the first night of stay. To ensure your safety, please do not adjust temperature and/or adjust, remove chemical float.

Pet Policy: ALL PETS MUST BE REGISTERED (Service Animals are allowed)
a. Mickelson Trail Lodge allows one small to medium size dog. The rate is $20 per day. A cleaning fee of $100 may be assessed if your dog sheds excessively.
b. McCaskell Cabin and Western Sky Cabin DO NOT allow pets. If we discover an undisclosed animal at the cabin and/or excessive amount of dog hair in the cabin, a cleaning fee of $200 will be added onto your bill automatically.

Smoking Policy: All lodging units are NON-SMOKING! (No exceptions) Should you smoke indoors, there will be a $200.00 fee.

Credit Card Authorization: You agree to the total amount listed according to issuer agreement.

Policy Agreements: I understand and agree to abide by the policies, rates, and regulations indicated above. Mickelson Trail Lodging is not responsible for any accidents or injuries to you or your guests while using services operated by other independent businesses.
